The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the major operation components of the Department of Health and Human Services. The participant will securely receive indirectly identifiable data, conduct probabilistic data linkage to match potentially identifiable data from the Veterans Administration (VA) with data from community providers reported to NASS, and document findings in a scientific report. The participant will receive training on how to document health outcomes of ART among US Veterans in scientific publications and presentations. The participant will receive training regarding ART surveillance activities including data collection, data analysis, and data management. Additionally, the participant will receive training on how to use ART surveillance data for programmatic and quality assurance projects to improve maternal and infant health.
