One GIS opportunity is available with the U.S. Army Garrison Directorate of Public Works - Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Qualified candidates must have completed a BS or MS in Geography or related field within the past five years.  U.S. Citizenship is required for this opportunity.  

The appointment includes, but is not limited to the following:

ORISE participant will engage in geography and environmental planning studies to analyze hydrology, geomorphology, meteorology, and climatology. The participant will assist with the collection of Geographic Information System (GIS) source data layer for ArcGIS geospatial studies, map development, and presentation. Data collection will include utilizing coordinate geometry and Global Positioning System applications.

 Qualified candidates must have completed a BS or MS in Geography or related field within the past five years.  U.S. Citizenship is required for this opportunity
