Description

The Oak Ridge Robotics Academy is a week-long day camp for rising 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade students. Working in small teams, students will learn the basics of designing, building, and programming a robot. The week will be filled with exciting and challenging activities!  Students will develop technical skills in engineering and computer programming. The program will take place in the classroom at ORAU in Oak Ridge, TN on June 15-19, 2026, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

Participants must be rising 7th - 10th grade students at the time of the program. (This is the grade level the student will be during the 2026-2027 school year).

Priority will be given to students who have not participated in the program in past years. Students who have attended this program in the past will be placed on an alternate list. Alternates will be notified as spots become available.
