The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Robotics Academy is a week-long day camp for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students filled with exciting and challenging activities. This introductory camp provides students the opportunity to work in small teams to design, build, and program a robot. Students will be introduced to Vex coding and will enhance engineering and programming skills throughout the week while developing skills and mindsets to help them to grow into engineers, computer programmers, and technology leaders of the future.
Students will report to Room Number 210 in the ENR2 building (Address: 1064 E Lowell St, Tucson, AZ 85719 on July 22-26 from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
This program is made possible through a sponsorship from the Central Intelligence Agency.
Participants must be rising 7th, 8th, or 9th grade students and must be U.S. citizens. U.S. citizenship of those selected to participate will be verified through submission of a birth certificate or passport.
Students will be selected for this program by a committee based on their responses on the application.
