The ORISE Forensic Chemistry Mini-Academy is a two-day program that introduces middle school students to Forensic Chemistry. Students will solve a mystery by collecting and analyzing evidence using techniques such as chromatography, fingerprinting, shoe imprinting, blood typing, and fiber analysis.
Students will report to the ORAU classroom at ORAU in Oak Ridge on June 24-25, 2024, from 8:30am - 4:30pm and should bring a sack lunch.
Participants must be rising 7th, 8th, or 9th grade students at the time of the program. (This is the grade level the student will be during the 2024-2025 school year).
