Description
We are constructing a new multicolor mm/submm camera for the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory, to be commissioned in 2010. The camera uses lithographed detector arrays fabricated at JPL's Microdevices laboratory (MDL) that incorporate broadband planar antennas, bandpass filter circuits, and microwave kinetic inductance detectors. We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to participate in commissioning of the instrument and in the initial science program, which will consist of studies of high-redshift submillimeter galaxies, galactic star-forming regions, and the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect in galaxy clusters.
