Description
Novel approaches for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) predictions of complex flows are sought, either in isolation to advance fundamental understanding, or in application to complex engineering configurations.   Examples of complex flows include separation, shock/boundary-layer interaction, acoustics, and buffet.   Examples of complex configurations include human exploration vehicles (ascent rockets and entry capsules), and aircraft in high-lift or transonic cruise configurations.    Areas of interest include high-order numerical methods, turbulence modeling (LES sub-grid, RANS, or hybrid models), and computational geometry and meshing.
