Description

This opportunity is for studies of geology and, in particular, the study of volcanic processes in the solar system, using a combination of theoretical modeling, spacecraft data and field work on Earth where appropriate. Special emphasis is on the study of magmatic volcanism on Io and cryovolcanism on Titan and Enceladus, using data from current and recent missions, including imaging, radar, and infrared data. Reseach into plantetary interiors, and the relationship between interior models and surface processes, is also encouraged.
