Description
The new field of Astrobiology hopes to apply expertise from
diverse fields to questions of the origin, evolution, and ecology of
life through the universe. Our laboratory is particularly interested
in applicants who wish to apply technical and theoretical skills to questions of microbial evolution. Of particular interest is questions relating to the role of the environment in evolution, including the evolution of organisms that are at the environmental limits for life, ""extremophiles"".
